It's that time of year again (two generations per year as I undferstand it.)

Take care!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13114278.post-73874430431203024822007-12-30T15:19:00.000-08:002007-12-30T15:19:00.000-08:00This afternoon my cat and I spotted a beautiful br...This afternoon my cat and I spotted a beautiful brilliant green grasshopper, about 2 inches in length , sunning itself on my screen door. It is the first I have seen in my 12 years at the beach in L.A. and I too started searching Google to see what it was. This is the only site that seems to fit the description. I'd love to know more about it. It is Dec. 30th and about 58 degrees. I have a huge, very old avacado tree in my courtyard and lots of foliage which bring us many birds, squirrels, raccoons and other wild life as well as the many neighborhood cats that like to hang out in the safety of the courtyard and partake in the birdwatching. What does this grasshopper eat and do I need to be wary of it or can I just enjoy him?DR Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09247216976121626623noreply@blogger.com
