Not only have two baby hummingbirds hatched and fledged.
The ornamental plum tree has burst into bloom. It isn't a native tree, but it is frequented by a wide range of creatures. Bees and hummingbirds visit the flowers while others, like the northern mockingbird, will wait for the summer fruit.
